What if when Hela says "What were you the god of again?", we hear Imagine Dragons go "thunder, th th thunder, thunder"?
This is my ideal blend of comedy and action. It has my favorite long-term villain (Loki), my favorite single-appearance villain (Hela, who also has the coolest outfit), a bonus mini villain (Grandmaster). The jokes all land, and as a bonus, everyone is looking hot.

Solid middle of the road film.
Lambert is fine. Brook is not.
Phillips? Kind of wish he had started his career as a solid character actor rather than with some major successes. Then I wouldn’t feel so bad seeing him in low budget scifi films.
This might be the MCU movie I've seen the most times. It's just effortlessly rewatchable.
I love teen comedies, and Spider-Man Homecoming is the best teen comedy in years. The Captain America school videos and the school news segments with Betty Brant get me every time.
I spend the whole movie anticipating the car scene, and Michael Keaton is even better than I remember every time. From the house door opening through getting out of the car, whew. He's just on another level.

Ant-Man is a blast. Paul Rudd is... basically Paul Rudd, which I've been on board with since 1995, so need to stop now. Michael Peña steals every scene as Luis, my favorite MCU support character. There are a lot of scenes with a Honey I Shrunk the Kids vibe, which blew my mind in elementary school. If there had been a Rick Moranis cameo, I'd find a way to give it a sixth star.
I do have three gripes.
1. Hope's haircut.
2. The Judy Greer erasure on the poster. There are two random henchmen flanking Corey Stoll, but no Judy Greer?!

It is not the most coherent of movies, but that doesn’t stop me from really enjoying it!
A spectacular cast and some fun action scenes!
Now that I own it, Barbie has taken it's rightful place in my comfort movie rotation with Bridesmaids, Clueless, Pitch Perfect, and 10 Things I Hate About You. Hi Barbie!

I love Wanda, and I will always love Wanda.
It's not my favorite plot, but I love a lot of elements: introduction of Wanda and Vision, expansion of the Avengers roster, Linda Cardellini, Kickass, Thor gets funnier, Bruce/Natasha romance (even though they fumble it in the grand scheme of the MCU), solid Maria Hill screentime.
Also I never noticed that the baby's onesie says Nathaniel Pietro, and you know what? I cried a little. Just a tiny bit.

A slow film that fully unravels at the almost-end of the film, revealing one of the most incredible torture and camera-jumping scenes in film.

Miike really nailed this one. The acting was a bit aloof, but the cinematography and storyline come together with a handshake, resulting in a predictable yet stunning ending.Watched for the <b>Double Threat Podcast</b>.
The first half hour is a little slow for me, but it ramps up once the Drax and Mantis interactions start, and it never looks back. Everyone gets time to shine, and that's what I love most about the Guardians. It's not all Starlord all the time. Sonetimes it's Kraglin.
PS: Taserface is Toby from This Is Us, and that's wild.
