Who knew FNAF would be so polarizing?
I haven't played any of the games, so as someone with no background knowledge, this is a perfectly fine (but surprisingly dark) tween Halloween movie. I'm not sure how well they translated it from game to film, but it has Peeta, Beck from You, and most importantly Matthew Lillard, so that's enough to get me in the door. I'm a little surprised by how many reviews are asking where the horror is, because when I worked at the mall, it was always like 7 year old kids buying FNAF plushies, not adult horror fans.

I Know What You Did Last Summer has an iconic late 90's teen cast. It will always live in Scream's shadows for me though, even though they came out two years apart. It holds up better than I expected it to though, and the beauty pageant scene is iconic.
While not his best work, you have to appreciate David Fincher's attention to detail. His work on such films as <I>Fight Club</i>, <I>The Social Network</i>, and <I>The Game</i> show that he capable of bringing a story to life through his lens.
Alien³ is dark (very dark), and so it plays to the alien's (and director's) advantage as it stalks the residents of Fiorina 161, a correctional facility on the prison planet. Sigourney Weaver, our (main) final girl from the previous two films, returns to battle, with a little "package" of her own.

I don’t care what people say, PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE is the best film produced by a baptist church about aliens resurrecting the dead, that there has ever been!
This is so creative and funny. It is silly and goofy in an unexpectedly clever way and flips a lot of horror tropes on their heads.
I felt some sort of disconnected with the characters which blocks me from truly LOVING this. I appreciate it, and I can see why it is a cult favorite for so many.
Just call it Scream 5!!! Or V if we are doing Roman numerals!
I was cautiously optimistic for this one, since it shifts heavily onto the new generation of Scream characters, and the OG's are secondary. It exceeded my expectations. It has the spirit of the first without being a replica, and they upped the intensity of the fight sequences. The characters aren't as near and dear to me as the originals, but maybe over time that will change.

I like the idea of this. I didn't really like Malorie though, and with something like this, I want to be rooting for the main character for a reason other than that she has kids with her. I feel like maybe I would like the book though.
Loved the transformation scenes, but some of the dialogue was just terrible. Plus I’m of the camp that isn’t sold on Lon Chaney, Jr. as Dracula.
I really, really tried to enjoy this film. The plot drew me in as it reminded me of <I>Downrange</I> and <I>Phone Booth</i>, two films I enjoyed watching, but then completely fell apart with the unnecessary political commentary thrown in.
I'm not sure if it was the quality of the dvd, but visually this was a lot rougher than I remembered, and cheesier too. I do love Parminder & Keira though.
More supernatural than I expected, but I guess that's on me for not thinking through "disconnected phone ringing" as a main plot point. Pretty good overall, I think I would have just liked it to commit harder to the supernatural and go all in. Ethan Hawke is successfully creepy and unsettling.

Weirdly, the star actually seems like a pretty good actress! How she ended up in the Batwoman bikini is anyone’s guess.
