Deathly Hallows Part 2 is overall a very satisfying ending. I don't have any real complaints about it, yet it is my least favorite of the Harry Potter movies. I love how in the epilogue they attempt to age the kids up by giving Bonnie a mom-bob and Ron a comb-over.
I love a fun teen slasher, and this gives me that with a Back to the Future twist. Kiernan Shipka and Olivia Holt are two of my favorite young actresses, and I always love seeing Randall Park.
I don't subscribe to Prime all year long, so it's annoying that this doesn't have a blu-ray release.

After being pleasantly surprised by how much I liked Chapter One, I am disappointed I didn't like Chapter Two more. It was a pretty big drop off that I didn't expect.
Bill Skarsgard is still scary, and the adult Losers Club cast is stacked. Maybe the loss of the coming-of-age aspect hits it harder than I would have expected. Also having not seen the Tim Curry one or read the book, the ending is weird and anticlimactic.

I've never seen the Tim Curry version, so all I knew going into this was Pennywise the clown and that there was going to be a part two with the kids as adults. I liked this a lot more than I expected. I'm a sucker for a coming of age kids story, especially if it is set when I was a kid, so I loved the Losers Club. Ben is my favorite, naturally. Bill Skarsgard is pretty scary as Pennywise. I'm not afraid of clowns, but I get it now.
Scream is perfect. Timeless. Iconic.
It parodies teen slashers while also becoming the best one. It has just enough comedy to be accessible to non-horror fans. Every character is developed in a way where they could be your favorite, even though the obvious favorite should be Stu. Okay maybe Gail wouldn't be your favorite, but she COULD be.

Favorite (Not Necessarily Best) Four From Every Year Since Birth
Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride at Disney World. If this was an amusement park app, it would get five stars and a heart.
I wanted this to be like Night at the Museum, or at least like House with a Clock in Its Walls. I like most of the cast, we've established that I like the ride, and I like a good live-action family comedy. The ingredients are all there. Something just doesn't come together for me though. It is fine, and probably one of the better recent live action family movies, but there aren't any especially memorable scenes or characters to give it staying power.
The <B>V/H/S</b> franchise stands tall amongst other horror anthologies in that they not only bring together fantastic talent, but incredible short films that are a piece of a bigger puzzle.
The first <I>V/H/S</i> film was a fantastic experiment, showcasing shorts from Joe Swanberg, Radio Silence (the team behind <I>SCREAM</i> (2022) and <I>Scream VI</i>), and set a standard for the franchise.
<I>V/H/S/2</i> really upped the ante and delivered four solid segments (from Jamie Nash, Adam Wingard and others) and a wraparound story (from Simon Barrett) that gave a closer look into what these tapes are capable of (we learn a little more in future <I>V/H/S</i> films as well). You can watch any of the V/H/S in any order (just like in this film...), but this is a great start if you want to be introduced to an ever-evolving franchise.
