Father of the Bride is such a comfort movie, but I forgot about it. It has those warm fuzzy early 90s feelings, and Steve Martin and Martin Short are so perfect together.

This shouldn't work, but it works perfectly.
Jojo Rabbit is so funny and so heartbreaking. The balance between the two makes you comfortable with being uncomfortable. Thomasin McKenzie and ScarJo are the anchors that make the balance possible, while everyone else does their thing around them.
Obsessed with Yorki, and I love Sam Rockwell.

33 years later and my husband and I still say "the dishes are done, man." That's how you know the movie and the husband are both keepers.
This is one of my favorite early 90's comedies. Christina Applegate was so cool with her outfits and her attitude. It's probably not as fun as Home Alone for the general kid audience, but Christina Applegate looked like a Barbie so I was in then, and I am in now. I'm right on top of that, Rose!

So, that final act was predictable, but this entire film went in a complete different direction than expected.
Is Clueless actually my favorite movie of all time? My #1? The more I think about it, the more I think it might be.

I was really only looking for Disney Channel good, not GOOD good. Ross Lynch and Olivia Holt are so adorable that I thought it was possible. It is not Disney Channel good. It is bad bad.
I really didn't like this when it came out. My husband really likes it and wanted me to give it another chance. Now I think it's alright, mostly on the sheer likeability of Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogan.
The best pure comedy since Game Night. The premise is ridiculous, and it works well enough that you don't really think about how ridiculous it is. Jennifer Lawrence can do it all.
The perfect teen comedy and easily an all time top ten movie for me.

The Lethal Weapon films dominated the box office in the 80s and 90s through four action-packed films. Who would've thought that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover's onscreen bromance would be a big hit, but it works. While all four Lethal Weapon films are a blast, the original, of course, really set the stage for what this franchise would become.

I don't watch many war films, but I do watch Andrew Garfield films.
Hacksaw Ridge spends a lot of time before the actual battles start, mostly in boot camp, and that's what got me on board. By the time the war starts, I'm all in. I could see it being a bit slow to anyone going into it looking for a lot of action though.
