Even for an 80s sword and sorcery film, this is pretty bad. Typical Jim Wynorski flick. Has a plot only thick enough to explain why everyone has their boobs out.

It's crazy how good this is, especially all the kid actors. I really appreciate the choice to focus on a generally happy kid who doesn't realize she's in a rough situation, when most movies would have taken it in a different direction.
Favorite (Not Necessarily Best) Four From Every Year Since Birth
When I saw this at the theater, there were only a few other people there. I wish it had been more crowded, because I think the WTF-is-happening aspect of this movie would have been great as a large-scale shared experience with strangers.
This should be called “Harpsichord!”. The music stings are the most frightening thing about it. (Well, that and the fact that no less than THREE Academy award winners were convinced to star in the thing)
One of Steve Martin's best roles. As a chief at a flailing fire department, he falls in love with Roxanne (played by Darryl Hannah). However, while she <B>does</B> fall for his personality, it's through a new, handsome and not so smart firefighter that's new in town. We don't want to give too much away, but it's a great love story of sorts, and Steve Martin shines.

As far as Jaws ripoffs go, this one wasn’t too bad. Kind of liked it
Robin Williams' charm and humor are on full display as he switches between characters, as both a father who loves his children and as an old maid named Mrs. Doubtfire, who charms his ex-wife, her new boyfriend, and their children. The late actor was always animated and energetic in his roles, and had the ability to easily put a smile on our faces and, for that, he will always be missed.

You may know <A HREF="https://letterboxd.com/director/adam-wingard/">Adam Wingard</A>'s name from the recent <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/e0qK">Godzilla vs. Kong</A></i> film, but he has been directing hits (at least we believe this) years before it. You're Next is hailed as one of the best home invasion horror films in recent history. From the start, it goes right for the jugular, and takes you through a series of twists and turns, including brutal kills, an assembly of weaponry, and the ultimate final girl.

Straight after having his eye pop out on The Walking Dead, Steven Yeun returns to infect our screens in this classic directed by <A HREF="http://letterboxd.com/thejoelynch">Joe Lynch</A> (<I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/C3VE">Suitable Flesh</A></i>, <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/1QDA">Wrong Turn 2: Dead End</A></i>). Teaming up with the lovely Samara Weaving, recently seen in both Radio Silence’s <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/kOf0">Ready or Not</A></i> (2019) and <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/zdfW>Scream VI</A></i> (2023), the two start from the bottom, and then work their way up an office building while battling work colleagues infected by a temporary airborne virus. There’s plenty of blood, one-liners, and, of course, <B>mayhem</b>!

Weekend detention doesn't sound like fun, but, hey, it does when you're stuck with this fantastic cast of characters who come from different backgrounds and have separate issues, and put all differences aside and forge a bond.
Thanks to director John Hughes, who shaped many of our lives during the 1980s, some of his films are receiving the 4K treatment, which will be both a perfect addition to your personal film library and LG OLED movie-watching experience.

The X-Men of horror films. Clive Barker's <I>Nightbreed</i>, based on his book "Cabal", is a horror masterpiece that showcases a society of beautiful monsters with incredible powers who are pitted against humans who are hellbent on destroying them. In addition, there's a serial killer (played by the always-brilliant David Cronenberg. Yes, <B>THAT</B> David Cronenberg) thrown into the mix with a vengeance of his own. The characters, special FX, and storyline are perfectly pieced together in this horror/fantasy film.

Almost 40 years after its release, <I>The Goonies</i> is still one of the greatest adventure films of all time (thanks to Steve Spielberg and Richard Donner's contributions to the film). The cult-classic packs together a fantastic cast and storyline, and will have you screaming "HEY YOU GUYS" at the top of your lungs for years to come.
