Yes it is bad, and as a bad movie it is one of my FAVORITE bad movies! Looks great on Blu-ray!
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier works best as a binge. I enjoyed it week-to-week when it came out, but the momentum and flow are just better if you power through it.
Bucky and Falcon get some much needed character development to position them as top tier characters in the new saga. They were already good characters but this separates them a bit from being Cap's sidekicks.
It's great having Sharon and Zemo back. Sharon deserved more time than her MCU run leading into this, and Zemo is a top tier villain for being just a regular human bad guy. He is pretty funny here, and I won't say I was rooting for him, but I wasn't NOT rooting for him. We also get a few newcomers to set up some of the future projects.
Some of the Flag Smashers plot is a little messy and doesn't make a ton of sense. It is interesting to have some post-blip world building though. The films don't usually have a lot of spare time for that, so this fills in a few of the blanks.
If this had come out during the 2020 quarantine, it probably would have been a streaming hit. It didn't though, so it got lost in the shuffle of the other straight-to-streaming movies.
Dave Franco and Alison Brie co-wrote this, so I expected something funnier and lighter. It is sort of heavy for a romcom, with anti-hero lead. Alison Brie is great though, and even when I don't like her, I do, because it's Alison Brie. It's fun to see her and Danny Pudi together again, and it's also sort of a thrill to have Haley Joel Osment here. Kiersey Clemons is also a delight.
So lots of great people, the movie itself? It's fine. It's worth a watch for a good cast, and it is not especially cookie-cutter for a romcom.
The X-Men franchise is pretty messy as a full body of work, but the first one is pretty good, and it's crazy that Hugh Jackman is coming back as Wolverine two and a half decades later. The cast is solid, and for the most part if I am envisioning an X-Men member, this is the version that pops into my mind (even though I do prefer First Class as a movie). James Marsden doesn't have nearly enough to do as Cyclops though.

I feel like I am frequently like, "Wah, wah, this was way too long", but honestly, wahh, wahhh, this was way too long. Two hours and thirty-five minutes?! Can't we have a fun adventure in two hours or less? I've seen the original three once each, and I haven't seen the fourth, so I guess who am I to judge?
Before I hit the fatigue of this being wildly long, it was an enjoyable enough time. I was not on board with the time travel. Maybe I am too much of an Indiana Jones casual, but that was wildly unexpected and confusing for me. I didn't know that kind of thing was in this universe. I do like Harrison Ford and his old man vibe. I like Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Fleabag, but not so much here. I think maybe her and Harrison Ford's chemistry just didn't feel right.
I love Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al, and I love that they made a parody of a music biopic rather than an accurate one. There are a ton of unexpected cameos, so many that it is almost hard to process and appreciate them all. Ultimately it just didn't come together as a cohesive story for me. It's a fun watch in sort of a bizarre way, along with the cameo-hunting, but not enough for me to actively recommend it.
Child's Play was my favorite horror franchise until Scream dethroned it. This is a pretty easy watch. It feels sort of like a very long bonus feature on a bluray, which is fine. There just isn't a big HOOK, like a deep dark secret or something crazy that happened. It is informative though, and it is fun to see how much everyone involved in the franchise truly loves being a part of it.

I’m actually impressed how well this holds up cinematically. I’m also disappointed how topical this still is.
It's exciting when there's a comedy in the theaters instead of straight-to-streaming. The trailer really doesn't do No Hard Feelings justice. It presents it as a teen sex comedy, and I won't say it's NOT that, but it is better. The two leads have enough heart to ground the story, even when some of the bits go off the rails, and Jennifer Lawrence can really deliver the laughs.
I can get down with an Adam Sandler Netflix movie. I have watched Hubie Halloween twice. This just didn't do it for me.
I was on board through the airplane flight, but once they got to the yacht and the murder mystery aspect started, it lost me. I just didn't care about any of the new characters, and I wasn't invested in the main characters either.
I love Michael Keaton, and if I'm going to watch the DCEU I do prefer it a little more upbeat, which puts the Flash towards the top of my DCEU list. I can't get over how much Ezra Miller looks like Jimmy Fallon though, and I don't actually want Jimmy Fallon as a superhero lead.
Overall this is a fun mindless watch. I don't know anything about The Flash and his lore, but you don't really need to. There are fights, and there are jokes. And again, Michael Keaton.
