Love the TRANCERS series! Yes, they get pretty silly towards the 4th or 5th film, but this first one is fantastic!

I didn't watch Candy, and I was generally unaware of the story going into this, so I was VERY surprised on multiple occasions. Elizabeth Olsen and Jesse Plemmons are fantastic. I am always buying what they are selling, and I love having them both in this. As excellent as they both are, this would have benefited from a slightly reduced episode count. If the seven episodes had been edited into maybe five, it would have been a stronger, more even series.
This is a really interesting and well-made documentary. It is wholesome and inspiring overall, without ever getting too saccharine. There are a lot of clips of his shows and movies that enhance the story, and the balance of those with interviews and "candid" family footage is perfect. This could have been stretched into a miniseries, but they edited it to a refined and excellent hour and a half.
Mediocre vampire film about a group of shipwreck survivors that stumble on an abandoned Nazi vessel that was transporting a family of the undead.
Creatures looked cool, but they appear far too late in the film.
Air is incredibly the same the second time around. I feel exactly the same about it. I didn't notice anything cool that I missed the first time, and there wasn't any first-watch magic lost. Still a solid drama with a solid cast, solid all around.
I really like Margaret Qualley and tried to tolerate this film, but walked away disappointed. It had a great setting and cinematography, but I felt both the acting and dialog were over the top, resulting in my one-star review.
I don't self-identify as a Harry Potter Adult, until I start watching this movie and then I think maybe I am. (I'm not, at least I don't think so, but maybe.)
