honestly i liked it, i don't get why it doesn't get more praise.
my favorite part about the film were the cinematography, set and costumes and score.
The lighting is just so gorgeous and beautifull, i love it.
its very john carpenter esk and i love the thing so this is right up my alley
Its a pretty fun film and the characters have a pretty good family dynamic but after the double gangers enter the film it becomes fine, its still pretty good film making wise, the cinematography looks good, the direction is pretty good and the acting is great but they could've added more layers to the whole family as a....whole.

this is not a movie, this is an experience.
the poster leads you to believe the little guy and monkey are important but they aren't, well not for allot of the films duration.
uwe boll has been called many things from crazy, insane, mad and the imbodiment of craziness. postal wich clocks in at 1 hour and 57 min is easily uwe boll at his full capacity, no one and nothing is save from this man's fingers.
the film opens on two people flying a plane discussing how many virgins they are gonna take before crashing into the twin towers.
our main character(played by zack ward) who isn't given a name until almost an hour in where he's reffered to as "postal dude"
postal dude lives in a trailor with his wife who's fat and obnoxious.
she later fucks some sort of landlord and fucks him even after an hour and like 30 min later. postal dude goes to an interview where several heads on speer are displayed at the office he's interviewed at.
the story makes no sense but my favorite part is when,
1:osama bin laden is at some sort of convention
2:they arrive at this german theme park where all the people involve in some sort of robbery put on hitler like mustache's and nazi shoulder pads.
at the same time, uwe boll who appears as uwe boll gets interviewed at the theme park in wich he confirms his films are made with nazi money.
in the film there is a little man who appears for 15 min and then gets locked up in a room full of monkeys who rape him, a person locked him into that room because a bible told him to.
postal dude also gets locked in a room at one moment and breaks out 3 min later.
this film has a full on genitall display, a woman licking another woman's pussy, j.k simmons(yes) and uwe boll getting shot in his dick and saying "i hate video games"
shoutout to zack ward(and by extension brendan fletcher) for being in so many of uwe boll's films, like i don't know if they are also insane but honestly they aren't even terrible actors, zack ward especially in this is very fun. the film is very offensive yes but thats what makes it so funny, its so offensive that its not offensive but still is but you know so you can still laugh at it.
in the end, postal dude gets the hot girl and kills everyone else+a baby.
some might call uwe boll a terrible film maker, i don't particularly love his previous films but unlike allot of other "bad directors" uwe boll stands out from the crow, he's himself and he displays his personality into his films. now he has the personality of a little filthy rat but thats what i apreciate about him.
we have this auteur, this artist who doesn't back down and i think thats ironically hillarious and bold. that doesn't mean i condone what he's done threwout his life but you can't say he hasn't had a pretty interesting career.
ironically i would call uwe boll one of my favorite film directors just for the man himself alone, the dude litteraly had 3 boxing matches with his critics if thats not insanity incarnate and interesting then i don't know what is.
the film making of postal is maybe qdeustionable but dare i say visually it looks decent, the vfx look garbage but that adds to the sillyness of it all, the costume's and clothing are very decent for the most part and the cinematography while i wouldn't say is good, it looks way better then boll's previous films. its not special but there are some pretty interesting and unique shots to be seen with the human eye.
uwe boll.....never stop making films.
if it wasn't for the unironically....pretty good cast then this would probably be the worst uwe boll movie yet as it is 2 hours long.

If it wasn't for the rushed ending where all the characters were killed off in one go then it would've been perfect.
Also coogler should ditch the post/mid credit scene for his non mcu films, thank you.
And lastly, micheal b. Jordan was sweaty as hell my god.

the first uwe boll film where i can actually tell what he was trying to do.
but it gets kinda ruined when one of the actually sympathetic character becomes a school shooter and shoots innocent people who some, in the film, he never spoke to btw.my uwe boll ranking:
