My favorite underrated Christmas movie. Seth Rogen, Anthony Mackie, and Joseph Gordon Levitt are great together (even though I think JGL sings too many times in this), and all that bro energy is balanced by Jillian Bell and Lizzy Caplan, who never disappoint. Ilana Glazer and Nathan Fielder crush their cameos. I rewatch Ilana's scenes on YouTube even when it's not December.
Dylan McDermott has sort of a soft heavenly glow around him the whole time as if there's a twist that he's actually an angel sent from heaven to teach a mother and daughter about the Christmas spirit.
Also in another world, this is a holiday reboot of Matilda.
This is cute enough to be worth a watch, but I don't expect it to enter my regular Christmas rotation. Leighton Meester prevents it from feeling too Hallmarky. It feels like it would have aired on ABC Family, which I guess is called Freeform now. Either way, that's the vibe here.
This has officially secured it's spot on my annual holiday must watch list. I embrace everyone deciding what content is holiday for them (Gremlins? Die Hard? Harry Potter? Sure, why not?), but Hawkeye is so holiday it shouldn't even be up for debate. The villains even wear red and green track suits. Now that's holiday spirit.
There's a world in which I give this one star, but in the spirit of Christmas and for Danny Devito, I'm giving it two. Please know I don't think you should spend time watching this though.
Typical “Giallo”. Plenty of beautiful women getting murdered in a bizarre way, and the revelation of the culprit is out of left field and their motives explained after the fact.
This one’s production values were good and most of the acting was as well. Most of the women were more than pretty faces/bodies.
This was an odd one, made one more odd by George Segal as our American spy in Berlin. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in anything this serious!
Timeless perfection, but I wonder if the people of Whoville would be more welcoming to the Grinch from the jump if he wasn't the only naked one.

I think this is the movie I've seen the most times, largely thanks to the TBS 24 hour marathons. If I could only watch one Christmas movie, this is the one. Tonight I saw it in theaters for the first time, and I noticed small things I had missed the other fifty times. It's the perfect Christmas movie.
