a beautifull film about a man laughing throughout pain and love.
the commentary for this film added to the experience. lon chaney's performance is brilliant as he expresses every emotional exceptionally well.i also love some of its lighting choices.

i rewatched this again because 10 min before starting the film, my mom got mad at the fact that wore my dress at school again but this time, a few minutes after that she made an account for ME for an online house market.
idk what that definitively means but i feel like im screwed asf.
i mean i guess im almost 18 so it makes sense but then again, doing that right after getting very mad at me makes me worried.
i mean i guess i WANT to leave the house but i feel like that the day i turn 18, im gonna be thrown out. man im totally fucked.(watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
im not totally sure. as a mystery, oh yeah its engaging as hell....but as a movie its a different story.
while its mystery is cool, whats the theme here? the characters on paper are decent enough but without any thematic depth they all feel flimsy.
i don't know if i liked or hated this because the ending seriously needed a better draft.
kang ha-neul gives a good lead performance tho.(watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
Military propaganda in the big 2026 is crazy.

disgusting, perverted yet funny and captivating to watch.
while a lot of people may say its nothing but weird shit, under all that is a tale of a broken family stuck in violence and sex.while it may not be entirely right for ME to say this as a 17 year old....but being sexual is very exhausting, violence is exhausting and this movie understands that. takashi miike is not interested in showing that or the concept of a dysfunctional family in a light way. we have to come to terms with the fact that some families are actually like this.
what i find most interesting is the way the film uses incest, the beatings and many other things to show that dysfunctionality and family under pressure in the modern day by suprisingly captalism.
a friend said that about this film and it makes sense imo sadly enough.(watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
an extroardinary visual showcase yet i didn't really care for anything else that much.
the film feels like a weird dream but thats all its got going for it.
its really cool that one of if not the first animated feature film was directed by a woman.(watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
matt johnnson is fascinating.
blackbery is the first thing i've ever seen of him yet i also see similairities in style from clips i've seen of nirvanna the band the show the movie as the handheld aproach fuels both camera's in each film.
the film is technically a biopic but matt johnnson handles this with much more care then others.i think what makes blackberry so good is its dissection of corporate transformation in the form of jay baruchel's mike and glen howerton's jim.

not entirely my cup of tea but i liked the various cgi and practical effects.

a lot more earnest then apatows later films yet still nothing noteworthy.
general audiences will eat anything up, its depiction of sex and virginity is better then most as it doesn't make carrel a pervert yet his character is.....nothing. its just that he's a virgin.
not a single laugh.(watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
i watched this for lee sung-woo.
anyway decent enough action flick with enough heart in its characters.

a world where a future seems impossible so the people in it grasp to anything that only slightly resembles one.
beautifully dystopia and mamoru oshii's mind is able to create such a strong world and characters all in just 71 min.(watch my new feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )
