I hate cassie lane and the fact that kang is suppose to be the new big bad despite being defeated by ANT MAN,I MEAN ANT MAN WAS A PRETTY GOOD AND FUNNY PROTAGINIST IN THE FIRST MOVIE BUT THEN IT GO'S DOWNHILL FOR HIM AND HIS MOVIES WITH ANT MAN AND THE WASP

When I saw Quantumania at the theaters, I gave it four stars. Now I know I definitely inadvertently give a ratings bump based on the theater experience.

My favorite scenes are the ones before and after they enter the quantum realm. They enter the realm too fast, with almost no build up, and they are immediately split into two groups. Then they spend almost the whole movie split. It's somehow both too silly and too serious, like it's in a constant battle with itself over the tone.

I know my four stars for this is inflated because I really like watching movies in the theater with popcorn, M&Ms, and cherry coke.

Before they hop into the quantum realm, I like that Scott Lang is now an author (but I got the memoir for Christmas, and it's not very good, so please don't actually buy it other than as a fun decoration). I don't love this being our third actress for Cassie, but I like that we have more content addressing the impact of the Blip on society.

The quantum realm reminds me of the Star Wars prequel trilogy. Major Jar Jar Binks energy where it feels like they designed species to appeal primarily to kids. There are a lot of things that don't make sense, even with my suspension of disbelief.

Ant-Man is still charming and likeable because it's Paul Rudd, so it's still overall a fun watch. Maybe I just miss Luis.
