Pretty bad ass, IMO.
Indie action film with all the frenetic fights and fun play of a Mission Impossible or James Bond film.
Orphée Ladouceur-Nguyen has a background in stunts so they could not have picked a better person to take on the role of kick-ass action star.Maybe a little derivative here and there, but it’s a fun time nonetheless.

While late to the game, <I>Psycho Killer</i> was one of my most anticipated films of 2026, and ended up being one of my least favorite films of 2026. The story, while interesting, just dragged on and on, and there were many unnecessary pieces leading to the conclusion of the film. Also, whomever decided to have "The Satanic Slasher" sound like <A HREF="https://batman.fandom.com/wiki/Bane_(Nolanverse)">Bane</A>, what were you thinking?
You know, this isn’t that bad. Well, except the soundtrack is awful, and the fights aren’t choreographed very well, and Jesse Ventura is terrible. Besides all that, it’s not bad!
Decent idea and the villain is appropriately evil and threatening. (Him taking kids hostage in a school is particularly uncomfortable nowadays, not that it ever was.) Schwarzenegger was supposedly going to be Abraxas, but turned it down to do T2. I’m thankful that he did for multiple reasons. We got a damn fine movie in T2, and we didn’t have the villain AND the hero going around with their Danish (Thorson) and Austrian (Schwarzenegger) accents.
Though I do think Arnold would have helped THIS film a bit.
Points to everyone for being able to say “Captain Coldyron” with a straight face and for the filmmakers to really think they’d be able to manage to make a sequel.
At least they cast and crew knew they were not making high art. Numerous times they called themselves out for what they are, and I appreciate it that. “This isn’t some low-budget sci-fi” & “I don’t know. I feel this is how Terminator started.” LOL
This film is so far up its own backside that a burp and a fart smell the same.
I have no idea why this is rated as high as it is everywhere. Likely because the director or some critics declared it was about depression and everyone else os afraid if they call it out for the drawn out melodrama that it is, they’d be ostracized for “not getting it” or for belittling sufferers of depression.
It's nice to be out of Josh Hartnett's bad hair era.
Lucky Number Slevin is a little convoluted, but I don't mind. Josh Hartnett is my favorite, and Lucy Lui brings an adorable energy. I'm into it.

My favorite thing an action movie can do is be half comedy, so I love this. I love Lemon and Tangerine. I want a whole prequel about Lemon and Tangerine in Bolivia.
Okay, I have two complaints:
1. Casting Christian Slater as a guy with no friends while he was a teen heartthrob is CRAZY. You can't just put glasses on him and act like that does the trick. You can't Reverse She's All That him. Not with that hair.
2. I don't think they said Pump Up the Volume a single time.
Complaints aside, I see a world in which if I had been the right age at the right time I would have been super into this. It just made me want to watch Heathers. I liked this, but I love Heathers.
The Drama concludes the Yikes Marriage trilogy (+ Materialists & Die My Love) and kicks off the year of Zendaya + Robert Pattinson (she gets top billing).
Very solid dark comedy, and I managed to go in unspoiled. I never knew where it was going, and I dig Robert Pattinson in those glasses.
Never stops being amazing and impressive.
Love this film! Oh, some of the themes are dated as hell, but it just simply amazing.
I was incredibly unprepared for this, and I became aware of that instantly.
The songs were pretty catchy. I was bopping along. It made me feel kind of sad overall though, and I think perhaps I don't want to be sad during musicals.
