I think this may replace <i>Scrooged</i> and <i>A Christmas Story</i> as my top Christmas film.

Thanksgiving tradition 🦃
Maybe a little style over substance, but it’s packed with some brutal action and fight scenes! (Awesome soundtrack too!)
Didn’t love it, but not sorry I finally watched it.
This was fun! The acting was okay, but the soundtrack was badass, the kills were great, and the evil Santa is a fuckin' solid Terminator. Also, Riley Dandy brought her Samara Weaving game with her!
If you enjoyed <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/1s4m">Jack Frost</A></i>, then this Christmas horror film is right up your alley. In fact, at times, it felt as if I was watching <I>Jack Frost</I> due to the combination of quick one-liners, the tree's voice, and not-so-great acting, but, hey, what'd you expect from a film called <I>The Killing Tree</I>?
<i><b>Skinamarink</b> </i>is a found footage film, but it’s not a found footage film. However, it’s creepy and effective throughout, complete with questioning camera angles and moments where you look into the darkness trying to find a clue (but there isn’t one, is there?).
With very little dialog (if there is, it’s hard to hear most of the time) and no character development, our main character is the camera. The stationary shots throughout (minus the last few parts of the film) piece together a story, which is, at times, confusing and weird as you try to figure out what is really happening, and then the film ends.
<i><b>Skinamarink</b></i> gets high points for being one of the strangest films I’ve watched this year, and while I may give it 3/5 stars, I’m looking at other reviews for an explanation.
It is not without its problems, but it is still a brilliant sword and sorcery flick! (And Harryhausen’s work is near impeccable!)
I remember liking this when it first came out, but watching 25 years later, it doesn’t hold up as much as I’d like. There are just some things that pull me out. The ridiculous panic by the museum goers, the even more ridiculous reaction by the museum “security system” and the never ending sprinkler system… all just make me shake my head.
Winston’s creature design and make up still look great though!
Like Depeche Mode's <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/2MT2">Devotional</A></I>, <I>Stop Making Sense</I> puts the band on full display with fantastic set designs and tight-knit performances of their hits (basically, their entire catalog are hits). Amazingly directed by Jonathan Demme (<I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/1XMk">Philadelphia</A></i>, <I><A HREF="https://boxd.it/2aHW">The Silence of the Lambs</A></i>), this is a must-see documentary/live performance of one of the greatest bands to ever exist.
Not much “sport” in “Deathsport”.
I guess they figured “Drug Induced Noisy Nonsense” wouldn’t fit on the poster as well.

This film took a dark turn <B>really</B> fast. Go in blind, and then take in what you just watched. It's a fucked up, incredible film.
